Cotswold Life Awards 2008 - Finalists "Best Farm Shop"
We were delighted to have made it to the top 3 in the Farm Shop category and many thanks to all our customers who took time to nominate us. We had a fantastic evening at the Beaufort Polo Club for the awards ceremony along with Blockley School and The Horse & Groom who were also finalists. Leonie from Great Farm (free range chickens) won the "Best Producer" group but of course we are all winners for being shortlisted in the first place!

Titan's back for more... Old Farm Sausages | 05.08.08
Moreton Show, Saturday September 6th
He liked them so much last year he's coming to stay at the farm again and will probably be visiting our stand at the Moreton Show for the odd hot dog or pork roll on show day. Tickets for the show are now on sale at the Farm Shop and offer big savings, see below. Another way to get a ticket is to actually get involved and enter some classes. There's a great selection, something for everyone and you never know - you could even be a winner!

We'll be there with our hot dogs, bacon butties, beef and pork rolls and we hope to be showing the premiere of Old Farm II, The Sequel. As there will be livestock at the show again this year we will be bringing along our latest additions - the Old Farm Glamrocks. Intrigued? You'll have to come along to find out more!

Meet Harry the Hood | 05.08.08
Harry the Hood is our new Hereford bull and will be the future father of the beef on sale in the Farm Shop. OK, so we'll have to wait a while but we hope you'll like it when it comes through. We needed to replace some of our older cows and also wanted to increase our herd size to meet increasing demand - we could have bought in some new females but as we have a group of nice looking home produced heifers we decided to buy a new bull instead. In the mean time we will continue to stock our own well hung beef as usual. We'll let you know how he gets on over the next few months.
