Food & Farming courses
New for 2014 and by popular demand we are planning a range of courses. We really enjoy showing people what we do at the farm and can offer some fun, informative and productive training sessions which can be tailored to individual needs. Coupled with on-site accommodation we can give you a real taste of life on the farm. B&B at special rates is offered as a bonus and is not compulsory! Email us for a quote.
|Farm Walks (crops/livestock/wildlife)||Lambing (March only)|
|Pig/cattle/sheep keeping||Sausage making|
|Shearing (May/June)||Bacon curing|
We have added “educational access” to our Higher Level Stewardship Scheme (HLS) and have been accredited through CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) to host farm visits (free of charge). We need a minimum of 6 people in a group (maximum 35) and are happy to tailor a farm walk to suit your interests. To date we have hosted visits from Blockley School, Moreton Brownies, The 3 D’s from Draycott, Chipping Campden School, Greenfields Nursery, Evesham College, Stretton on Fosse Village ans Shipston Cubs as well as holding Open Days throughout the year.
