Current activity: Stubble turnips - provided winter food for ewes
We plant stubble turnips to help provide feed for the sheep over winter. They are drilled after an arable crop in September and are ready to be grazed by December/January when there is not much grass available, especially useful after such a dry summer with hay stocks at an all time low.
